About Me

Hello, World! My name is Nkosinathi, and I matriculated from Phathakahle High School (KZN, Dannhauser Rural) with a National Senior Certificate in Life Science, Geography, and History. After working as a waitering at fast food restuarants, I realized I wasn't passionate about what I was doing and decided to change careers.

A friend suggested that I try out coding and I decided to give it a shot. I haven't looked back ever since. The countless amount of technologies out there to learn and mess around with is exciting. I've recently started tinkering with Java, and would love to build back-end applications using Java.

When I'm not coding, I enjoy spending my free time watching a TV or playing games such as Chess.

A social bookmarking wep application created with Java, used to bookmark books, movies and web links.

MoneyTransferSystem

A task is to automate a business process associated with transfers of certain amounts between participants of a system. Each system user can transfer a certain amount to another user. Inside the system, all money transactions are stored in the form of debit/credit pairs.

AvajLauncher

A program takes a scenario file. It lists aircraft and their started coordinates. The first line is the number of simulation runs. Each run, the Weather Tower provides updated weather conditions for every aircraft and its coordinates.
Aircraft react with changing coordinates by specified step and logging a message to the simulation file, the message corresponds to the weather. If the height of an aircraft reaches 0, it lands and unregisters from the Tower, thus stopping its participation.
